Had a great experience. Friendly service. Delicious cortado and scone. I sat outside in the morning in July and was comfortable because of the trees that offered shade. I was surprised to be the only one out there for a couple hours while I did some work. I had trouble connecting to the WiFi but it appeared to be an issue with my Mac.
The staff were very friendly, however we ordered two of the same exact lattes and they were very different. One of them was fine but a bit too sweet, and the other just tasted like milk and a ton of simple syrup. I'd expect more consistency for how much they were charging.
This is the best spot in the neighborhood. Starting with their mission, which is exemplary. The coffee is solid as are the baked goods. But the people make the place. They are excellent. My dog used to pull me in every time we walked by the front door because she knew that they would be so kind and generous with her. The garden in the back is simply spectacular as well.
I would only ask for bicycle racks to park out front.
The food, coffee, and atmosphere of this place is awesome. The house mocha and salted caramel cold foam was SO GOOD. Also the turkey sausage sandwich on brioche was very very good. Look forward to coming back !
What a wonderful find! This space is open at 7am and has the best coffee and customer service. I could sit and journal here for hours. There is something very special about the staff here. They are young adults coming off of foster care and working here to gain employment history. It's smart and special for any young person to learn customer service on a consistent level. I appreciate seeing this in action and done so well. Ill be back and will definitely bring people.

Had a delightful cappuccino (oat) and a breakfast sandwich. I like the options you have for your breakfast sandwich--I got sundried tomato egg and Gouda with bacon on an everything bagel (Based on the bagel varieties, I think they source from the bakery down by 31st?)
I usually frequent another coffee shop, but figured I'd give it a shot. I'll be mixing up my coffee routine from now on. Also noticed had plenty of open nice quiet tables to hang out or work at.
Cute little coffee shop that is very community-oriented. The mission of this grant shop is to champion behind undeserved youth within Philadelphia and help them with employment and life skills. I ordered an amazing iced chai latte from the friendly cashier!
I would definitely recommend giving you money to this coffee shop!
It is alright coffee not bad not good. But they charge more than any place I have been. I’ve lived in DC, I’ve lived in NYC, and never paid more than 7.30$ for an Iced oat milk latte. I won’t be coming here again for that. There are multiple coffee stores within half a mile.
